Representative Bill Werkheiser of Glennville and Senator Blake Tillery welcomed the Tattnall/Evans Homeschool Association. Leaving early in the morning, the group made the three and a half hour trip to the Capitol. They were met by by their State elected Representatives where they learned how a bill is introduced and makes it way through the legislative process. They were able to watch the House and Senate work from the galleries of each respective Chamber. After enjoying a lunch at the Capitol they heard from several speakers representing different agencies before heading home. A highlight of the trip was being able to take a picture with Governor Brian Kemp. Chaperoning the group was Christi Thompson, Tori Boyett and Noel Watkins.
